Ivano-Frankivsk region: be careful in the winter waters!
According to statistics, from year to year, especially in winter, there are a growing number of human tragedies on the water. Despite the constant warnings of the lifeguards on the observance by citizens of rules of safety on the ice, especially during winter fishing, since the beginning of the year in Ukraine on reservoirs already registered the death on the water. In Ivano-Frankivsk region this year too, already have one floater. Therefore, employees of fire and rescue service consider it their main mandatory’to do everything possible to warn people, especially fans of winter fishing, about the danger posed by ice. Now the waters of a full freeze-up. And the dangers the fallacy of some water bodies’objects of the Carpathians: even in the bitter cold some parts of the rivers Bystritsa and the Dniester, as well as the Burshtyn reservoir, do not freeze. This year the month of January was successful for the fans of winter fishing, however, not all care about security. Given the situation in Ukraine with the death of people on water about’objects, all staff of rescuers-divers is on high alert: they systematically work out their own practical action to assist the injured person in the water. In addition, rescuers are working in advance of emergencies: they daily prophylactic-rose’annual raids the most popular among anglers in some places, remind people of the rules of conduct on a frozen pond, handed out warning leaflets.
