In the Rivne region rescuers carry out information and explanatory work with the population relatively cautious on the ice

It is in these days, when the ice is on the pond, and the air temperature above zero, out on the ice becomes dangerous. Anxiety causes rescue unconscious attitude of citizens to warnings about the danger that lurks on the ice. Some anglers completely ignore the warnings, risking their lives and go on the ice without considering the factors that indicate that it is dangerous. On 25 January, officers of the 10th state fire and rescue parts and of Rokytnivskyi district sector PG DSNs Ukraine in Rivne region held a winter raids on water bodies. Rescuers visited destinations, favourite lovers of ice fishing and met people who rest on a sled or skate with the children. Experts of gschs held roses’outreach and reported the need to be always careful to avoid the tragic deaths of people on the ice. Also, rescuers reminded the children about the prohibition to walk to the water bodies without parents and be naughty on the ice, and adults warned not to go onto the ice after the consumption of alcoholic beverages and ice fishing alone.
