Slavic ceramics-Chernivtsi presented their work to help wounded soldiers

Exhibition of ceramic artists from Slavyansk was opened in Chernivtsi in the gallery "Sweet Art Knowledge" in Day of Conciliarity of Ukraine. Ten of the authors brought in Chernivtsi their creative work, to share experience and to familiarize the team with the pottery traditions of Eastern Ukraine. The ceramics exhibition was held with the support of the UN development programme in Ukraine “the Development of infrastructure in support of business Donetsk and Lugansk regions,”, funded by the Japanese government. Slavonic potters were the winners of this program, proposing a project to create a cluster “Ceramic edge” with the center in Slavyansk, and ready-made products, made in different techniques and traditions, brought in Chernivtsi. Over a hundred works by artists has given the city – from ceramic toys, glassware, jewelry to original stove - tandoor, where you can smoke, bake, fry, boil any food. The opening of the exhibition in addition to the residents came representatives of the city authorities, artists, Ukrainian soldiers who fought in Sloviansk. The vast majority of the visitors from Donbass for the first time has visited our city and were amazed by its beauty and the hospitality of its people. For artists organized a tour of the city. All works of Slavic ceramics will be sold at a charity auction, and the collected funds were sent to the wounded ATO soldiers – Alexander Kotov and Alex Grinkov. A charity sale will be held January 27 from 15 till 19 o'clock in the gallery"Sweet Art Knowledge" ( vul.Steinberg, 23). This was reported in the Chernivtsi city Council
