Volyn oblast: during the weekend rescuers eliminated 7 fires and saved the man's life
January 23-24, area rescuers liquidated 7 fires. In particular in the Stone-Kashirsky, Lutsk, Liuboml, Manevychi, Rozhysche districts and in the city of Novovolynsk. The main causes of the fires were a short circuit of electrical equipment and violation of fire safety rules at operation of oven heating. Thus, 23 January at 17:14 in the emergency services "101" has reported that on the street of Ivan Franko in Lutsk burning two-storey house. To fight the scourge after 5 minutes arrived on duty guard another State fire and rescue parts ¹1 and ¹2, and also parts of special fire equipment. Rescuers had to use the devices on compressed air for protection of respiratory organs and sight. Thanks to operative actions of employees of gschs managed to find in a smoky room a pensioner born in 1948. A woman evacuated from dangerous areas with a sliding ladder and handed over to the medics for assistance. For fire suppression that occurred as a result of careless handling of fire of the victim, the firefighters took another 30 minutes. The state emergency service region appeals to citizens to strictly observe the rules of fire safety in the home, not to overload electrical network of powerful consumers, hiding from the children matches and not leave them home alone with enabled devices or electric stoves.
