In the Volyn region, rescuers urge citizens not to go out on the thin ice
From the beginning of the week throughout the territory of Ukraine there is an increase in temperature that promotes the melting and destruction of ice cover on lakes and rivers. Under these conditions, the output on thin ice and fishing pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to life and health’I people. However, citizens mostly ignore basic safety rules and continue to go on the ice, and causes tragic consequences. So, from the beginning of January the rescuers have already recorded 21 cases of death of people on reservoirs, 2 of which were children.
