I urge law enforcement agencies, especially the police and the Prosecutor's office, to conduct a transparent and impartial investigation concerning the activities of the Deputy of Ternopil city Council from the party «folk». Also notice that the person is suspected of committing an offence as associate Professor at Ternopil state medical University, not a member of the city Council. As mayor of Ternopil I note that the Deputy of the Ternopil city Council from the party «folk" was not included in the Parliament ’s most proteinaprima", although he attended the session and worked on commissions. It has acted as a member of the city Council. Every bribe-taker whose guilt is proved, should receive the maximum penalty under the new anti-corruption legislation of Ukraine. However, police and prosecutors should demonstrate these proofs to the community. This includes the case of a city Council Deputy from «people's Control" and other high-profile cases in Ternopil and region.
