In Zhytomyr held an information day in the framework of the grant competition
Sunday, 08 February at 10.00 in the session hall of the Zhytomyr oblast state administration held an information day in the framework of the call for proposals within the Programme of territorial cooperation of the Eastern partnership "Belarus-Ukraine". For participation are invited representatives of regional authorities and local self-government and civil society organizations interested in implementing the grant projects. Attention! During the information day the participants will have a detailed explanation of the conditions of the contest rules for submission of proposals, selection criteria, completion of application forms and other practical aspects. The territorial cooperation programme Belarus – Ukraine" envisages the implementation of joint projects on the territory of Belarus (Brest and Gomel oblast) and Ukraine (Kiev, Chernigov, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Rivne region). Within the program participants (public organizations and governments) can get from 60 to 250 thousand Euro grant for the project. The participant must also provide co-financing from other sources (except EU aid), which is 10%. The period of implementation of projects from 9 to 18 months. Projects will be implemented in the following priority areas: • improving the living conditions of local communities in the border regions through the implementation of joint projects in support of socio – economic development; • address common issues of ecology, employment, health and other areas of common interest and the boundary value; • culture, education and sport. The participant should: • be a legal entity registered accordingly at least one year prior to the competition applications; • be a nonprofit organization; • to be a certain type of organization: non-governmental and non-profit organization implementing projects that protect public interests, the interests of local governments and institutions, and registered on the territory of the project implementation.
