In the Zhytomyr region firefighters put out the fire in the house that was on fire due to faulty furnace heating
4 February at 20:50 in Service of rescue "101" received a report of a fire in a residential house in the town of Berdichev. As with’it turned out the hosts in the evening, warmed the oven and went to rest in another room. However, after some time they felt the apartment the acrid smell of smoke and called rescuers. On call was immediately directed the fire Department of the 4th state fire and rescue unit consisting of four people. Upon arrival to the scene the fire covered 28 square meters of the roof and partially overlapping the house. During the intelligence’it turned out that the fire was in the passage of the chimney through the trees’wooden ceiling construction. Forces fighters DSNS at 21:20 the fire was localized, and at 22:21 – to eliminate. The fire destroyed 28 square meters of the roof and 4 sq m of overlap. According to preliminary information, the owners are not held timely repair of the stove, therefore, for violation of fire safety rules at operation of oven heating in the apartment fire.
