On 4 February, the staff of the Department gschs of Ukraine in the field of humanitarian training visited the Museum of Volyn icons. The guide of the Museum told about the history of the exhibition, conducted an interesting tour of many rooms in which are exhibited unique examples of sacral art, as well as opened up the secrets of the features of the restoration of cultural pam’trays of the Ukrainian people ’ s unique Miraculous Icon of the Kholm Mother of God. This Icon is considered as one of the most revered Christian shrines and placed in a separate room of the Museum. Museum of Volyn icon – the only Museum in Ukraine, which is a special regional school Volyn iconography. In the collection of the Museum exhibited more than a hundred of icons of XVI-XIX centuries, religious items decorative carvings, among which are the Royal gates called "the Tree Sea" and sculptures of angels and saints, placed in eight halls and the like. The most ancient icons were found in Volyn ordinary rural churches. The tour made a lasting impression, because many of the young staff of the office not been to this Museum. The event was organized in cooperation with the primary trade Union organization of employees of the office and structural units of the office DSNS Ukraine in the Volyn region.
