The forum presented "the Program of studying and popularization of English in educational institutions in Chernivtsi for 2016-2020". The implementation of the Program allocated more than 3 million hryvnia, which will focus on rewarding students and teachers, the organization of cultural events, replenishment of library stock, material and technical support for classrooms and the like. "we make a big step forward to make our city the English, – says mayor Alex Kaspruk. – We need to Chernivtsi in the context of globalization spoke fluent English because is very important the exchange of information, the possibility of obtaining new knowledge. The man who speaks fluent English, has a high value in the labour market, is open to the world. And then the Chernivtsi will be very competitive compared to other cities. Ukraine will start the year in the English language, declared the President of Ukraine, and we want the Chernivtsi were active. We must make every effort to make significantly more than this program provides. When children begin to learn language even in kindergarten, for five-ten years our city will be out of the competition in terms of attractiveness for investors from all over the world." One of the objectives of the forum is to familiarize the participants with the activities planned to implement the program and conduct in 2016 the Year of the English language in Chernivtsi.
