Scientists presented studies for implementation in the region of alternative energy sources

V. Hnatiuk to discuss the issue of implementation in the field of alternative energy sources. "The rapidly rising cost of energy raises the problem of rational and efficient use of energy resources, — said Vasily Askolsky. — Substitution of traditional fuels with alternative, biological is one of the most important priorities of the region development". The meeting reviewed the developments of the University scientists in the field of energy efficiency. Head of the Department of mechanical engineering and computer engineering, Professor, academician of the Academy of electrotechnical Sciences Valery Fedoreyko introduced the current system of heat generator for drying grain, bioengineering heat source to the thermoelectric module for Autonomous power supply systems (including military facilities). According to the results of the meeting the sides agreed on cooperation of scientists with the Department in the implementation of energy saving, bioenergy projects, and set out a plan and activities to promote this issue and implement appropriate systems.
