In the Volyn region rescuers taught the residents of high-rise buildings fire safety rules
10 February the Lutsk city Department rescuers Management SSES of Ukraine in the Volyn region and the employees of the 1st State fire and rescue unit conducted a planned fire-preventive working off in the territory of one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city of Lutsk. First of all, the rescuers met with management and staff of the municipal enterprise Ltd. "SWC", which manages several multi-family houses, informed about the operational situation with fires in the city, their causes and consequences. Employees of gschs stressed that the prevention of fires and tragic accidents on them is possible only in conditions of strict control by the administration and the employees and utilities for fire safety in blocks of flats and conscious compliance by the tenants of houses. Communicating directly with the tenants, rescuers reminded the basic rules of fire safety: urged not to smoke in the stairwells and do not throw cigarette butts from the balconies, not to overload the dryer as household waste, and also to adhere to the requirements of gas and electrical safety. The janitors and maintenance staff houses employees of gschs recalled the priority actions in case of detection of fire and other emergency situations. All categories of citizens rescuers handed the cards and pam’trays made of safety rules and posted printed materials on special stands and placed in the mailboxes in under’the entrances. As part of the information of the RAID, the officers "101" inspected the basements, attics and utility rooms in blocks of flats, all carefully recorded violations of fire in nature and reported them to the administration of housing and utilities, urging to immediately resolve all the flaws.
