Chernivtsi: accommodation of cylinders of liquefied hydrocarbon gas requires permission of local authorities
To prevent the occurrence of accidents when using cylinders of liquefied hydrocarbon gas (further – cylinders LPG) to catering establishments m. Chernivtsi and region, business entities must adhere to the requirements of current legislation of Ukraine concerning the use of cylinders of liquefied gas. You must know that in accordance with paragraph 6.54 DBC 2.5-20-2001 "Gas" do not install the LPG cylinders in premises of public catering, consumer service of population, in places of possible mass stay of people (more than 50) in the same room. To a business entity for the safe use of LPG cylinders in accordance with current legislation should: – to obtain a permit for the placement of high risk from local authorities in the respective territory; – produce project documentation for installation of gas cylinder installation (equipment); – to obtain permission in the office of Rostruda in Chernivtsi region to perform high risk work (storage, operation of LPG cylinders); – assign the order of the company the person responsible for the technical condition and safe operation of gas equipment, which was trained and examined in accordance with the requirements of "Model regulations on the procedure for training and examination of knowledge on labour protection"; – to draw up a contract for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment by a specialized organization in accordance with the requirements of section 5 of the "Rules of retail trade and provision of services on supply of the liquefied carbohydrate gas for domestic requirements of the population and other consumers"; – to make an agreement with a specialized company for supply and filling of cylinders or replace them. Also, on all cylinders LPG enterprises, it is necessary to apply a white ring marking the strip with a minimum width of 100 mm. To fill the LPG cylinders must only be performed in specialized organization of gas facilities and gas stations filling LPG cylinders – is prohibited. It should be remembered that the maximum filling of LPG cylinders should not exceed 85% of its volume. The office of Rostruda in Chernivtsi region warns that neglect of safety requirements in the operation of LPG cylinders may result in explosion of gas-air mixture, the destruction of buildings and injuries of people.
