Ternopil foresters refused to budget financing

Igor Vasilyevich, in particular, noted that the regional leaders are interested in forestry area was profitable, as it regularly pays taxes, fees and other obligatory payments, adding to local and state budgets. At the same time the representative of the regional state administration noted that the forest owner has its problems, in particular, it concerns the illegal logging of wood and their timely warnings and detections. So Igor Wons, as the government representative, emphasized the close cooperation between foresters and representatives of regional and district administrations and law enforcement bodies in respect of this issue. In addition, the Deputy Chairman expressed his intention to meet lisniki teams to explore all the issues, so to speak, at first hand and to learn about the activities of each of state forest enterprises. According to the results of financial-economic activity of the state enterprises of the Ternopil OLMG present informed the Deputy chief of Department of forest resources and Economics Maria Paruk, which focused on the achievements and identified shortcomings according to the results of the annual activities of the SOEs. So, in 2015 from all types of cuttings harvested 249,1 thousand cubic meters, including felling 131,1 thousand CBM of timber. Created forest cultures on the area of 738 hectares, including 40 hectares of new forests. The forest cultures shall be implemented in the area of 6454 hectares, supplemented 836 ha laculty. The cost of 1 ha of the care of forest cultures on management is 564 hryvnia, the establishment of forest plantations – 1582 UAH. We also analyzed the cost of forestry operations such as thinning of the forest. Despite the fact that the salary of full-time workers has increased, it still remains low compared to srednogorovo (4599) and is 4168 USD. It is lowest in Ternopil forestry – 3503 of the hryvnia, the highest in Kremenets – 4830 USD. The number of full-time employees, compared with 2014 increased by 105 and is 1009. The increase was due to the refusal of some state-owned enterprises from private companies to provide forestry work.
