Chernihiv: the mayor met with representatives of the world Bank
At Chernihiv city Council held a working meeting of the mayor Vladislav Atroshenko with world Bank representatives and company CHP LTD. ‘Technova" in the framework of the energy efficiency project. During the meeting the world Bank representatives noted that they want to expand the project to Chernigov and expressed readiness to provide loan funds for the modernization of centralized heat. During the meeting they discussed the credit conditions. The mayor noted that they are quite attractive, but have a question regarding the term of the loan, the loan exceeds the term of the lease agreement entered into between the company ‘THOSE Nova" and the city Council. All these questions must be studied, and it is important to agree on other terms for the repayment of the loan. The mayor noted that participation in the project will enable to reduce heat losses. The city is interested in obtaining a loan from the world Bank on quite favorable terms for a period of 20 years. The representative of LLC ‘Tehnova" Alexander Korchinsky noted that they are ready to find the design to address issues that will be mutually beneficial to all parties.
