In the premises of Vinnytsia city library - branch ¹13, which since 2013 is the focal point of intercultural dialogue, February 23 a meeting was held "Language is the heart of the nation" dedicated to the International mother language day. The event was attended by representatives of Polish, Belarusian, Lithuanian and Czech communities. Students of the Vinnytsia centre for vocational education technologies and design had the opportunity to hear poems and songs in Armenian, Polish, Belarusian, Russian, Czech, Lithuanian languages in the performance of the representatives of national-cultural societies and invited guests. His life experience and ability to communicate in three languages shared the Deputy Chairman of the regional associations of the Belarusians Mikhail Tyshkevich, Belarusian songs performed by the duet of the ensemble "Kupalinka" proved the similarity of the Belarusian language to Ukrainian. Statement by the Polish children's theatre "Dialogue" (head of the Victoria Gaydash), which works at Vinnytsia cultural and educational Union of poles, was not an unusual pleasure and applause. Performed by young actors in dramatized form the poems of famous Polish poets. Clear enough for the audience was the Czech song performed by Alexander Gutsol member of the public organization of the Czechs who live compactly in the village of Nikolaevka of Kozaytyn district. Alexander spoke briefly about the history of the emergence of the Czech community in the region, their sin life and performances of folklore-ethnographic ensemble "stud?nka" on international stages, giving the library the "History of Czechs in Ukraine". Originality and unique flavor admired the young audience listening to the Lithuanian language, which was presented by the Chairman of the Centre of Lithuanian culture and history Vasilos Sugak and in the Armenian language, which was presented by a video performance of the Armenian jazz ensemble. Right to begin and conclude the event was provided by the hostess - the Ukrainian language was recited in the melodious folk songs performed by students of Vinnytsia children's school of arts "cherry".
