Transcarpathia: the intermountain fire rescue staged a "literacy campaign" for the residents of the village soimy
This year, in Mizhhirya district, there is a reduction in the number of fires compared with the same period of 2015 – 8 vs. 14. However, in the village of soimy, which has 1200 residents, this trend is just the opposite. If during the whole of 2015 here there was 5 of fires, for the first two months of 2016 – already two fires. In connection’connection with this the representatives of the intermountain district Department of gschs together with activists of the village and social workers carried out fire-preventive working off of the mentioned settlement. First, all the participants of mining gathered in the room Simisimi of the village Council and held a meeting. In particular, rescuers brought to the attention of a DePuy corps of the statistics of fires in the village and gave recommendations of how to reduce the number of fires. The participants also discussed the problem of warning the population in case of an emergency. Taking this opportunity, representatives of gschs visited the village library and obstetric points that are in the Council building. Here employees of operative-rescue service reminded employees of the rules of fire safety and handed out relevant information leaflets. After that, rescuers walked all the places of mass stay of people acting in h. Soimy – caf?, shops, stores and the like. Employees of the state Service for emergency situations inspected the premises for the presence of fire extinguishers and checked the condition of the heating furnace. Rescuers have provided entrepreneurs with General recommendations for the prevention of fires and urged them to observe the rules of fire safety and life safety. In addition, representatives of SSES carried out round private premises of citizens, paying special attention to vulnerable segments of the population. The main topics of conversation, traditionally, were the observance of rules of fire safety when using heating devices and procedures in case of fire. Also rescuers came to the house, which this year had significantly damaged by fire and now the owners are doing repairs. Among other things, the participants practise advised the owners how best to lay the electrical network, in the future, the fire escaped the convent. Finally, rescuers visited Simisimi school of i-II degree and held informative lecture for the students of the 5th class. The students were told that in no case do not play with matches and other naked flames. Highlighted how to use fire extinguishers and where to call in case of fire. And for better absorption of the information the students gave out colorful fliers related to fire protection.
