Vinnytsia region has acceded to the formation of the Initiative "open Government" in the years 2016-2018 (+photo)
20 September 2011 during the session of the General Assembly of UN 8 countries-founders (Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Norway, Philippines, South Africa, United Kingdom and United States) signed a Declaration of "open Government" and announced national action plans. To become a member of the "Partnership "open Government" (SSP), countries should adopt a Declaration of Open Government at the level of representatives of governments, to provide a national action plan, developed with the participation of representatives of civil society, and agree to independent evaluation of their results. 1 November 2013 its intention to join the Partnership confirmed 60 countries, including Ukraine. Vinnytsia regional state administration in the same year, began to implement the Initiative "Partnership "open Government" and implementing the actions in all thematic areas. In particular, it concerns the strengthening of partner interaction of Executive authorities and institutes of civil society; involvement of the public in the formulation and implementation of government policy, ensure access to public information preventing and combating corruption; improving the quality of administrative services, introduction of technologies for e-government and e-democracy development. On 23 February, the Department of information activities and communications with the public of the regional state administration held a meeting "round table" on discussion of the draft annual plan for the implementation of the Initiative "Partnership "open Government" in 2016-2018. The discussion was attended by representatives of state authorities of the oblast and Vinnitsa, Advisory bodies of the state administration, public organizations, representatives of state agencies responsible for the development of information technologies, as well as experts on the issues of implementation in Ukraine Initiative "Partnership "open Government". All suggestions and comments offered during the discussion of the draft Plan of the regional state administration will send to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for further consideration in the approval of the national plan of action.
