In Lutsk held a working meeting with the Belarusian delegation with the aim of developing joint projects

In Lutsk was the working group from the city of Brest (Belarus) aimed at finding and developing projects within the programme of territorial cooperation "Belarus–Ukraine". Ukrainian side was represented at the meeting first Deputy mayor Taras Jakovlevym, the Deputy of the mayor Yury Moclinejo, as well as managers and employees of the Executive bodies of Lutsk city Council and utilities of Lutsk. From Brest city Executive Committee the meeting was attended by: chief engineer CUBIT "Brest city housing and communal services" Igor Guodong, acting HLCP "Brest garbage recycling plant" Vladimir Kolenchuk and foreman street lighting unitary enterprise "Brest DEP" Gregory Herds. During the meeting were presented the developments of Lutsk in the sphere of energy saving, recycling and waste sorting, as well as the work being conducted towards the development of parks and other green areas of the city Lutsk. The Belarusian side, in turn, told about their achievements in the above areas and the results of their work. The working meeting was the first step to identifying common to both cities in the interest and made the subject of debate and analysis of ideas for writing future cross-border projects. Besides, the Belarusian delegation had the opportunity to visit enterprises and objects, where you can already see certain results of the work performed in those areas. In particular, visited a landfill and waste sorting line Lutsky SCSCD "Latexrecommended" in the village Bride, examined the Central Park of culture and rest named after Lesia Ukrainka and Lutsk zoo, upgraded for EU funds, as well as the CE "Lutsk electrotechnical enterprise – Locksta" and gmsu No. 21, which carried out energy saving measures at the expense of the loan from NEFCO. The next stage of cooperation between the cities of Lutsk and Brest will become the working group meeting in Brest to discuss the details of future cross-border initiatives.
