25 February 2016 at the conference hall of Moscow hotel "Presidential" was held VIII international conference of Ukrainian philanthropists forum "Strategic philanthropy: the art of changing the world". In addition to representatives of numerous domestic funds, the event attracted the heads of international funds from the Netherlands, Romania , senior Advisor of the Institute of philanthropy, an expert on advising donors and benefactors Fenella rose (GB), Executive Director of the Foundation "Solidarity" (Poland) Krzysztof Stanovsky. Also the conference was attended by the Ambassador for special assignments of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, Deputy head of the Main Department for domestic policy – head of Department on interaction with civil society and political parties of the presidential Administration of Ukraine Oleksandr Yarema. The International conference discussed the problems of philanthropy in Ukraine and noted that since the annexation of Crimea and war in Donbass charity in the state has increased tenfold. Most of all donate for the ATO and wounded soldiers, many contributions are received for treatment of various illnesses, children and socially vulnerable categories of the population. The second time the event is open to journalists who cover activities of charitable foundations and are themselves volunteers, promote the charity. This year the category was awarded on the submission of the charities and volunteers included fifteen journalists, among which Marichka Padalko – TV presenter of 1+1 TV channel, the correspondent of TV channel 1+1, which covers the events in the combat zone in the Donbass, Stanislav Yasinskiy, the journalist of TV channel STB Oksana Movchan, Elena Sinitsyna from "Ukrainian truth" Elena Rozwadowski from "Mirror of the week", team, "the Newspaper in Ukrainian", several journalists from the regional media of Lviv, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Kirovograd. Pleased to note that in n andcatch awarded included the editor of the newspaper "Trostyanetska news" Anatoly Savchenko, member of the Trostianets district of the Council, the Chairman of the constant Commission of regional Council concerning municipal ownership, work, industry, construction, transport, communications, energy, trade and employment, who is a volunteer and often happens in a combat zone. He is the only journalist present at the forum the local press. The award to the Deputy, journalist and volunteer, was presented by a former Polish political prisoner and dissident Krzysztof Stanovsky. We will note, the Deputy of regional Council Anatoly Savchenko was awarded the "Gold medal of Ukrainian journalism", the medal "For the sacrifice and love for Ukraine", in 2015 the National Union of journalists of Ukraine, was recognized as journalist of the year. By a joint decision of the heads of the regional state administration and regional Council awarded the title "person of the year 2015" in the category "Journalist" and is listed on the regional Board of Honor "valor and Labor of citizens".
