"The great Prophet of resurrection"
3 March 2016 in the reading room of the library-branch ¹ 3, archives division, in conjunction with the library exhibition on the occasion of the 202-th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko called "the Great Prophet of resurrection". Taras Shevchenko – poet, artist, thinker, the ardent patriot of Ukraine. Shevchenko left us his invaluable spiritual heritage — works and light a good memory about yourself. He awakened love for their Homeland, called strong for feats, gave little hope and faith. We should always remember about the genius of the Ukrainian people. The exhibition includes photographs, archival documents, copies of drawings of the poet from the collections of the State archival service of Ukraine, as well as various editions of "Kobzar", a collection of works in volumes, published in periodicals, telling about the birth and life of the great Prophet of Ukraine from the funds of the library-branch ¹3.
