The region visited by the head of the National Agency of Ukraine on civil service

2 March, the Deputy Chairman – chief of staff of regional state administration Igor Wons met with the head of National Agency of Ukraine on civil service issues Konstantin Vashchenko. During the meeting discussed the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On civil service", which shall enter into force from may 1 this year. In particular, they talked about the reformation of the public administration in the organization, where competent staff will provide services to the citizens of Ukraine. "Such reform is intended to provide new quality public service in accordance with best European practice, to establish the legal and organizational basis for this service, as a professional, politically impartial activity for the benefit of the state and society", - said Konstantin Vashchenko. He stressed that in the conditions of reforms, many civil servants work in local government. In turn, Igor Vons stressed the need to conduct active explanatory work concerning the new legislation requirements, as well as the salaries of civil servants. "We understand that salary is a factor of motivation for civil servants, said Konstantin Vashchenko. – Therefore we will ask the Ministry of Finance, and to look for other resources at the expense of our foreign partners, in order to resolve this issue and state employees receive a decent salary".
