Volyn paid tribute to the pam'Yat Kobzar
In these spring days we traditionally honor the Ukrainian poet - Taras Shevchenko tribute to his artistic and public figures. on the occasion of the 202-th anniversary of his birth in Lutsk hosted the literary hour “We are United by the Duma of the poet”. Hundreds of residents came to the square to the monument of T. G. Shevchenko, which is the prospect of Freedom, to pay tribute to the prominent Ukrainian poet. Among them — Deputy head of the Volyn regional state administration Svetlana Myshkovets, first Deputy Chairman of Volyn regional Council Alexander Pirozek, Lutsk mayor Mykola Romaniuk and Deputy Andrew Kish, Secretary of the Lutsk city Council Julia Vasenko, deputies of regional and city councils, representatives of public organizations of students. The celebrations have begun with laying flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko. Then the gathered were addressed by representatives of creative intelligentsia, scientists who talked about the role of creativity poet, the significance of his words in times like these, recited his works. Traditionally, Luciana came to the square with their own “Kobzars”. Part in action took 123 citizens, among whom was a visitor from new York. The youngest participant is only 4 years, the earliest edition is dated 1906 and 1940's. All participants were awarded with “Minstrels” of modern editions, music album “With Kobzar in the heart” vocal duet “the Soul Volyn” – honored worker of culture of Ukraine Vyacheslav Sodemi, honored artist of Ukraine Alla, Apadi. The celebrations finished General performance of the national Anthem of Ukraine and “Roars and moans wide Dnepr” of Taras Shevchenko. The event continued with a performance of “the Great Loch” after the poem of T. G. Shevchenko in the Palace of culture in Lutsk city.
