Also the event was attended by honored artist of Ukraine, member of National Union of artists of Ukraine, sculptor, author of monument to Vladimir Awrah. Opened the solemn part of the national Amateur choir district House of culture with the work of T. G. Shevchenko "Roars and moans wide Dnepr". Welcoming the participants of the solemn meeting, first Deputy Chairman of the district state administration.Rostova noted:"For each country were significant events which reinforced the understanding that we have a booth and one people, one unity, to be strong and to defend its independence. Our fate is not easy. The struggle for a unified democratic and unified Ukraine continues. It is in our time is the establishment of our nation. The Shevchenko monument is a bright symbol of freedom of Ukraine and shining example of a free, democratic and independent Ukrainian state. Vinokur, on the initiative of which rose in the centre of a magnificent monument to the Great Kobzar noted that in all of the most difficult times of our history, Shevchenko's word helped Ukrainians to survive, inspired to fight for freedom, independence and liberation from oppressors. Ukraine is experiencing the most dramatic period for all years of independence. Our Motherland has been unheard of in the civilized world insidious attack from Russia, which is trying to destroy the European progress of the Ukrainian people and to divide Ukraine, attempt to break the freedom-loving spirit of the Ukrainian people and return it to the past. But the will of the people of Ukraine not to stop! Because our choice is to build a strong democracy, which will take its rightful place in the family of European States.
