The leader of Vinnitsa region in Ukraine in terms of milk production
Vinnytsia oblast by the volume of milk production ranks first in Ukraine. According to the Main Department of statistics in the Vinnitsa region, in all categories of farms in January-February of the current year produced 107,2 thousand tons of milk, or 9 % of the national production. The volume of milk production. compared to the same period last year, increased by 2.3 thousand tons or 2.2 %. In agricultural enterprises volumes of milk production increased by 1.1 thousand tons or 3.8 %. The largest milk producers are agricultural company, Haisyn district 3477 tons, Yampolsky – 2852 tons Kalinowski – 2689 tons, Trostyanetsky – 2392 tons, Tomashpil – 2224 tons. Milk yield of cows increased in comparison with the same period last year, to 45 kg (5 %) and is 880 kg of milk. The highest productivity in agricultural enterprises Murovanokurilovetsky district received per cow by 1415 kg milk, Kryzhopil – 1276 kg, Yampolsky – 1096 kg, Peschanskaya – 1082 kg, Trostyanetsky – 1076 kg, Litinsky -1071 kg.
