In the Zhytomyr region are planning to increase the cultivation of fruit-berry cultures. About this told the head of "brusvyana" Liliana Dmitriev yesterday, March 16, during the working trip of the Chairman of regional state administration Serhiy Mashkovsky to Brusilovsky district. The company is engaged in growing seedlings of fruit and berry crops of high quality, the production of berries in fresh form for further implementation. Liliana had Dmitriyeva told that their seedlings are sold not only in Ukraine but also exported abroad. The main berry in the company now are artificially bred blueberries, which are increasingly in demand. The company wants to expand its borders on 300 ha, to increase the cultivation of blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and other plants. It is also planned to establish cooperation and to teach gardeners to care for blueberry bushes. "Very pleased that in our area there are people who want to work, expand and create new jobs for people, – said Sergey Mashkovsky. – Growing of fruit crops is one of the promising areas in the Zhytomyr region".
