Transcarpathian firefighters put out a conditional fire in a warehouse with chemicals
March 22 at sec. Rozovka Uzhgorod district on the territory of LLC «Jabil circuit Ukraine limited" was held fire-tactical exercises on liquidation of a conditional fire resulting from the spill of chemicals in the warehouse. The aim of the training was to improve practical skills for management of forces and means on the fire, to learn tactical features of o’ºêòf, as well as to establish interaction between SSES units and fire units of the enterprise. According to legend teachings, in the warehouse of the plant caused a chemical spill from a barrel which caused a fire on the area of 50 sq. m. At 09:40, the corresponding message is received to the emergency services "101". At the scene immediately sent fighters 14-th and 15-th state fire and rescue parts m Uzhgorod, and the PRNG-7 m. Chop. Overall, the exercise involved 5 vehicles and 25 people of staff. Until the arrival of professional firefighters the fire with fire extinguishers tried to eliminate members of a voluntary fire team of the company. They brought out two of the victims who provided emergency first aid. Fighters of gschs arrived on call, first created a water curtain to stop the spread of clouds of toxic substances. Then using a foaming agent rescuers quickly eliminated the fire in the warehouse of chemicals. All exercise participants were satisfied with the results of the actions of professional and volunteer firefighters and outlined plans for such training for next year.
