In the Lviv region, rescuers discussed with the authorities the prevention of fires in ecosystems
On the basis of educational-methodical center of civil protection and life safety in Lviv region continue to educate the population of the Lviv region the rules of safe behavior in case of emergencies. So, on March 23 with the heads of village councils held a lecture on observance of fire safety rules during the conduct of activities and outdoor recreation. Participation in lecture was attended by the head of Department of normative and technical work, monitor fire protection systems and licensing of GU DSNS of Ukraine in Lviv region Orest Galanko. According to him, 2015 was one of the most difficult in the sense of fire safety. This was due to the preservation of a long period of hot and dry weather, lack of rain for a long time. As a result of fires of dead wood last year killed 4 people. Despite the set of measures of fire-profilaktichna direction constantly by rescuers, to stabilize the situation with fires of dry vegetation, most of which originated in agricultural lands and in open areas of the residential sector, the gradual increase of fires in this category. According to firefighters, the main cause of fires on peat land and in ecosystems has been and remains the human factor. During the conversation with officials Orestes Galanko stressed the importance of the decision regions of such issues: constant monitoring and analysis of fires in ecosystems, conducting inventory of land plots, the direction information letters to users about mandatory’Ascoli care for the land and the placement of the amp’trays in places with mass stay of people for the prevention of emergence of fires in natural ecosystems. Also the lifeguard reminded of strict compliance with fire safety, to prevent the transfer of forest and peat fires on buildings and structures, and in the event of fires – a device protective fire-prevention strips, cleaning dry vegetation.
