Meetings of the regional coordination Council on tourism on the topic "priorities in the development of the tourism sector by 2016 in the framework of the program of development of tourism in Ternopil region in the 2016-2020" was held in Ternopil regional state administration. Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Ternopol regional state administration Yury Eureka in this event took part the members of the regional coordination Council for tourism, deputies of local councils, representatives of institutions and organizations that are engaged in domestic tourism and related industries, public organizations and mass media. "The region has significant tourist potential, — said Yuri Eureka. — However, the economic component of the tourism industry leaves much to be desired. the meeting aims tied to the format of the constructive dialogue we have achieved the most effective results". During the meeting a presentation of the program of development of tourism in Ternopil region for 2016-2020, which was accepted at session of regional Council. Among the priority actions for the development of the tourism industry in the framework of the implementation of the Programme in 2016 — the creation of favorable conditions for conduct of tourist business. As well as the development of tourist and recreational component: construction of campgrounds, Parking lots, roadside infrastructure. By the way, last year by President TODA was established 22 camping Parking lot. In addition, for the purpose of promoting the tourist product planned a number of activities. In particular, posters on the rights of social advertising, QR coding of the main tourist sites, carrying out environmental actions, investment directory, creating electronic platforms with the investment proposals, competitions for social initiatives, promotional activities, as well as Western tourism exhibition, forming a network of tourist information centres. Also during the meeting discussed the peculiarities of the tourist industry during the International investment forum "Invest Ternopil – 2016" (the organization of the discussion panel on "Tourism development perspectives", discussion programmes, acquaintance with tourist and recreational potential, the architectural attractions of the region).
