Transcarpathian rescuers have summed up the results of work in March
General fire situation in Transcarpathia and main work plans of operational-rescue service for the next month reviewed during the final meeting for March held on 1 April in the Management of SSES of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region. In the meeting, which was chaired by the head of Department Roman Hud?k, was attended by leaders of the institution and the heads of fire and rescue units of the region. As noted in his report.and. Deputy head of Department Dmitry Leshko, in the month of March on the territory of Zakarpattya region has happened 148 fires, of which 66 – in the residential sector. In addition, the emergency services "101" false received 42 reports of fires. However, according to VA. Deputy head of Department Robert Varga, this year in Transcarpathia there is a decrease in the total number of fires. If during the first quarter of 2015 appeared 598 fires, then in 2016 this figure is 330 cases. In particular, in the region have less to burn dry grass and debris: 80 of such cases registered this year, while last year there were 283. At the same time, the current year was noted for Transcarpathia increase the number of dead people in the water. If in the first three months of 2015 was recorded 2 such facts, as of April 1, 2016 in the region there are 5 such cases. Two of them happened only in the month of March. Also over the past month Transcarpathian rescuers 4 times, abolished the effects of road traffic accidents, pyrotechnics carried out 12 visits to the explosive ordnance disposal, and search engines 4 times helped sublocales tourists. In April, employees of operative-rescue service of Transcarpathia will strengthen the work on informing the public about major hazards of spring-summer fire season. In addition, in areas it is planned to conduct joint exercises with the services and competitions on fire-applied sports.
