M. Chernigov: with the first group of student volunteers conducted sessions on life safety
for the period from 28 to 31 March in Chernihiv held classes with the first group of student volunteers, which included representatives of the Chernihiv national technological University and Nizhyn agrotechnical Institute. For four days students have mastered theoretical and practical knowledge on issues of fire safety, handling hazardous items, road safety and provision of first aid. It should be noted that the classes were under the special programme on life safety, the preparation of which the efforts made by staff training and methodological center of civil protection and life safety, specialists of emergency and rescue detachment of special purpose UDSNS in Chernihiv region, this is the only Department’), youth and sports of Chernihiv regional state administration, Management of preventive activity GU of the National police in Chernihiv region and the regional center of emergency medicine and disaster medicine. The programme aims to deepen and extend already obtained in the schools of the students ' knowledge about safe behavior in the home, in transport, public places and other situations. Special attention was paid to practical exercises, in particular on the elimination of fires and providing pre-medical aid. The volunteers thanked the organizers for the high level of employment and expressed the hope that the knowledge gained in the near future will be able to demonstrate among pre-school children, pupils and students during the educational activities on issues of safety.
