12 April talk about the history of the Karaites of Lutsk
for centuries Volyn land was a place of coexistence of various national communities, the interpenetration of cultures, religions, languages and customs. We offer to Your attention the cognitive cycle of meetings devoted to the different ethnic groups (Karaites, Jews, Czechs, Germans, poles, Russians) who lived in Lutsk in the prewar period. We want to introduce the residents of Lutsk with its multicultural history and traditions. Meetings that we have planned, will include lectures by experts, presentation of exhibitions, educational programs, films and many other forms of information about the town's past. The first meeting of the series "luck – a multicultural city" will be devoted to the Karaites of Lutsk. At a meeting with residents of the city invited members of the Association of Polish Karaites and the descendants of the Karaites of Lutsk. Presentations and lectures that they have prepared will decorate the opening of the exhibition "Karai Yollari – Karaite way."
