The official also commented that, in accordance with article 28 of the law of Ukraine "On mandatory state pension insurance" the minimum pension age is set at the level of the subsistence minimum established for persons incapacitated. According to the Law of Ukraine "On State budget of Ukraine for 2016" minimum subsistence level for this category of persons is: - 1 January 2016 – 1074 UAH. (from January 1, the minimum pension age is not changed, since this size was established from 1 September 2015); - from 1 may 2016 – 1130 UAH. (increases by 5.2 %); from 1 December 2016 – 1208 USD. (increased by 6.9 %). In this regard, from may 1, 2016 will be increased the minimum pension (except for working pensioners), calculated according to article 28 of the Law of Ukraine "On mandatory state pension insurance" (and the increase to pensions for excess length of service). In the Pension Fund budget on these purposes is provided with corresponding financial resources. Citizens do not need to contact the authorities of the Fund. All recalculations are done automatically, based on the pension cases. Pensioners who work after retirement from work the pension is calculated based on the subsistence minimum for persons who lost their working capacity, as defined by law at the date of dismissal. Working pensioners can continue to make pension recalculation (part four of article 42 of the law of Ukraine "On mandatory state pension insurance") every two years (including not less than 24 months of an insurance experience after appointment (the previous recalculation) of a pension regardless of interruptions). As for other pension payments, allowances and increases to pensions, which are established in percentage to the minimum, they will be credited with the increase of the subsistence minimum. In particular, this: the minimum size of disability pensions to participants of liquidation of consequences of the Chernobyl disaster; the minimum sizes of pensions to miners; the minimum pension payments for disabled - liquidators of consequences of accident on Chernobyl NPP for which a causal relationship of disability with the Chernobyl disaster, and the disabled war veterans and participants of hostilities; the increase to pensions for war veterans and victims of Nazi persecution; allowances to persons having the status of Honorary donor of Ukraine; the allowances according to the Law of Ukraine "On pension provision of persons, dismissed from military service, and certain other persons"; pension payments according to the Law of Ukraine "On pensions for special merits before Ukraine". Retirement in the period from 1 January to 31 December 2016 the maximum pension (including bonuses, raises, additional pensions, the target monetary assistance, pensions for special merits to Ukraine, indexation and other surcharges to the pensions established by the legislation, except for the additional cost to the allowances to separate categories of persons who have special merits before the Motherland) may not exceed 10740 USD. This size will not be revised due to the increase of the subsistence minimum from 1 may and 1 December of 2016.
