7 April in the conference hall of the hotel "Optima" held a training for employers "Modern tendencies in the sphere of employment and the employment of persons with disabilities". The West was implemented in the framework of the international project "Trainings, economic empowerment, assistive technology and medical/physical rehabilitation" and took place with the direct support of all-Ukrainian public Association "national Assembly of disabled of Ukraine" jointly with the Ukrainian Association of physical therapy and USP Wheels for Humanity (USA) with the assistance of international development Agency of the U.S. Government (USAID). The training aims to address topical issues of employment of people with disabilities and employment of internally displaced persons with disabilities, particularly from the East of Ukraine and the Crimean Peninsula, members of the antiterrorist operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions who have received mental and/or physical injury, civil, injured in zone anti-terrorist operation and members of their families. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness among employers regarding various aspects of employment and employment of people with disabilities to change public stereotypes about them, promote the improvement of the situation on the labour market for this group of citizens, to inform entrepreneurs of Vinnitsa with international experience and employment of people with disabilities. Leading the training was delivered by the head of Department of the NGO "national Assembly of disabled of Ukraine Larysa Bayda. "Attention to people with disabilities is a stereotype. If the enterprise, institution, organization creates favorable conditions, no special relationship need not and problems of employment of people with disabilities does not occur. This so-called "reasonable accommodation," she said to the audience. The training was conducted jointly with the Vinnitsa regional employment center, and the Vinnytsia oblast Department of Fund of social protection of the disabled and was another step towards improving social standards for people with disabilities in the region.
