Chernihiv oblast: the 19 rescuers liquidated fire in ecosystems and 7 in the residential sector as a result of burning of dry vegetation
In Chernihiv region there is a disturbing situation with fires in natural ecological systems. As of April 07, registered in the region 116 of the fires on a total area of over 430 hectares. the Main reason of this problem is the carelessness of citizens in dealing with fire. Only for the last day units of the Department gschs of Ukraine in Chernihiv region eliminated 19 fires, the area burned amounted to more than 80 hectares. Only in the Chernigov district near the village Mnev, New Belous, Zhukotki, Novoselovka, Olishevka and Boromyky firefighters liquidated ignition of dry grass on a total area of over 30 hectares. Also, m. Nezhin near there was a fire in the forest flooring on the area of 0,55 hectares. In addition, in Sosnytsya, Kozelets, Korop, Warminsko and Borovichsky areas as a result of burning of dry vegetation destroyed and 7 damaged commercial buildings. As a result of these fires nobody has suffered. In connection’connection with this, rescuers appeal to the population, urging them to be extremely attentive and careful in circulation with fire. In any case do not dilute the fires, not outstanding throw matches or cigarette butts around buildings, peatlands, forested areas, fields and roadsides. Pam’remember!
