Day of fire protection celebrated the Carpathian rescuers
April 14, in the Management of SSES in the field events took place on the occasion of the Day of fire protection, which was attended by the management and staff of SSES in the area, veterans of fire protection, as well as children - winners of the regional drawing competition on fire-prevention subjects. The celebration began with a worship service at the chapel of the Holy virgin on the site DPRC-1 of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. Solemn opening of the events dedicated to the professional holiday - Day of fire protection - the head of Department DSNS in the field of the Colonel of service of civil protection Vladimir Chernetsky underlined that the feast – it is a sign of respect and tribute to the significant contribution of workers of fire protection in the fight against fire, protection of life and health’I of people and property from fire, because fire fighting is a selfless service and the constant risk of their own lives for the safety of people. Mr Putin has addressed with words of gratitude to the veterans of fire protection, noting that their experience is extremely valuable for the young generation of rescuers. Those present also observed a minute of silence for those who laid their lives in fighting the fire. Flowers were laid at the memorial plaque to the Heroes of the Fire Department. An interesting highlight of the evening was the awarding of winners of children's drawing competition on fire-prevention subjects in three age categories. The best of them will participate in the national competition.
