Vinnicchina: in Tulchin opened a Museum of "Memory of Chernobyl" (photo)
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant the inhabitants of the town of Tulchin foot came to the monument to the heroes and victims of Chernobyl "Memory, sorrow – Chernobyl", a tribute to his laid flowers. During the event, the Grand opening of the Museum "Memory of Chernobyl", located on the territory of Tulchyn state fire and rescue unit number 14. Hiking the procession was attended by representatives of the Executive authorities and local self-government, the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, Chernobyl victims, community activists, youth, rescue workers, and residents of the city. The Chairman of regional public organization "Chernobyl Liquidators", the initiator and active participant in the creation of the Museum of Vasily Rude told about the Chernobyl disaster and the story of the creation of the exhibition, called for cooperation, collection of materials and memories. The red ribbon at the entrance was cut by the Chairman of the regional Council Alexei Avramenko and first Deputy Chairman of the district state administration Vitaly Poberegnik. Alexey Avramenko thanked the Chernobyl liquidators to save the country from nuclear disaster. Father Roman gave the Museum an icon of the Holy Fathers and Bishops Kilometersa letter. The first official tour was interesting and informative. The Museum awaits its visitors!
