In Zhytomyr region, the government established a uniform price for gas for the population
Yesterday, April 27, the Government decided to regulate the price of natural gas for consumers and set the price of natural gas as a commodity at 100% parity to the price of imported natural gas. Accordingly, the final price of gas for the population from may 1, 2016 is 6879 USD per thousand cubic meters. This price includes the price of gas as a commodity subject to the tariff at the entrance to the CTA for transportation to the Western border, excluding VAT. This – 4942 USD per thousand cubic meters. VAT is 1146,51 USD. In addition, the price includes the tariff for transportation of gas across the Ukrainian territory (219 USD) and the tariff for its distribution (513,7 USD).
