The young participants and organizers of the event welcomed representatives of the regional and city authorities. Today's festival he called a celebration of talent, energy, youth and smiles: "there is No better democracy than the democracy of art. It is impossible to know other people, not having studied its culture, artistic traditions. So I hope that the time you spend in the Vinnytsia region, will be useful both for each participant and for art groups and creative growth. Festival "Barvinkove cradling" will last four days. In addition to the citizens, their concert will showcase about 20 of children's choreographic collectives. The total number of participants almost half a Millennium, the Geography of festival is wide enough: in Vinnitsa came to show their dancing skills the teams from Kharkov,Zaporozhye , and also from Bulgaria. Romania, Georgia and Moldova. The concert program began, the young residents of the city - the members of Folk dance ensemble "Barvinok" its fiery hopak. On the first day of the festival the audience had the opportunity to enjoy Georgian, Bulgarian, Romanian and Moldovan folk dances. Reference: Over the years of its existence the festival was attended by over 100 teams from more than 20 countries, in different regions of Ukraine, from the city of Vinnitsa and Vinnitsa region. The total number of participants of the festival during all the years of existence – more than 15 thousand. Festival "Barvinkove cradling" is the official participants of the world organization "Preservation of development folklore", it is well-known in the world. So, this year to participate in the festival from abroad received more than 30 applications. Of these, eight were selected ( usually 5-6 teams from abroad). So, this time on stage there will be children from Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova.
