For 2016 Vinnytsia region from the State budget on payment of state allowances allocated almost UAH 2 billion in

Despite the difficult socio-economic situation in the country, financing of social benefits to the residents of Vinnytsia region occurs in full. On in region the number of recipients of government benefits amounts to almost 103 thousand recipients, and the amount of accrued and paid from the beginning of the year is 613,6 mln.. The purpose of all types of state social assistance is made in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation within the established deadlines. Recipients of public assistance to families with children, there are– 68,2 thousand people. Since the beginning of the year accrued and paid assistance worth 250 million USD. International family Day set by the UN General Assembly in 1993 and is celebrated every year on may 15. The establishment of this day aims to draw public attention of different countries on numerous family problems. The main priority of our state is providing state support for families with children, needy families and the most vulnerable segments of the population. Citizens of Ukraine who are brought up and live minor children, are entitled to state assistance in cases and on terms stipulated by the Law of Ukraine “On state assistance to families with children”, “On state social assistance to needy families” ,“On state social assistance to disabled from childhood and disabled children” and other laws of Ukraine. Economic and social reforms in Ukraine, aimed at improving the quality of life of families raising children with disabilities, financial assistance to women during pregnancy, childbirth or the birth of a child, benefits for children who, for one reason or another are deprived of parental care under guardianship or trusteeship assistance to children and single mothers. State social assistance is targeted, and the main parameters of social guarantees are determined at the state level and financed by subventions from the State budget of Ukraine. In Vinnytsia region state social benefits to families with children receive nearly 103 thousand people. Paid 614 mln.such benefits since the beginning of the year. So, allowance in connection with pregnancy and childbirth get 803 people. With the beginning of the year accrued and paid 3.4 million USD. such assistance, lump-sum benefit at birth of the child - 50 thousand 470 people, which paid benefits in the amount of 203,6 mln. help with adopted child - 75., whom paid assistance amount 328,4 thousand UAH. assistance to children under guardianship or trusteeship - 1114 people. With the beginning of the year accrued and paid assistance in the amount of 12.6 million USD. the help on children to lonely mothers – 75 people. With the beginning of the year accrued and paid assistance in the amount of 328,4 thousand UAH. temporary state assistance to children whose parents evade paying alimony, have no opportunity to maintain the child or place of residence unknown – 1184 person. With the beginning of the year accrued and paid assistance worth 2.2 million USD. state social help on children-orphans and children deprived of parental care according to the principle "Money follows the child" for the provision of social services in orphanages of family type and foster families of structural units of social protection of population appointed 227 parents-educators and foster parents, dependent on which 608 children-pupils. Since the beginning of this year, the amount assessed and paid is 6.7 million USD. public assistance to low-income families get 13òèñÿ÷ low-income families, raising 29,8 thousand children, of which 5.9 thousand families with many children . Actual expenditures from the beginning of the year for the payment of this allowance are 106,0 thousand UAH. state social assistance to disabled from childhood and disabled children get 17,9 thousand persons, the amount of accruals in the current year is 74,0 million USD.. In terms of all types of state social assistance is made in accordance with the requirements of current legislation and within the established deadlines.
