In Volyn region the driver who knocked down to death two children,will spend behind bars for 10 years
the Prosecutor's office of Volyn region has defended in the court of appeal the verdict against 29-year-old resident of the village Pdcore of Lubeshiv district, which knocked down and killed two children in the village Zarudchi. We will remind, on October 19 last year the man, being in a condition of strong alcoholic SP’intoxication behind the wheel of his car exceeded the permitted under the requirements of the Rules of the road speed and left on a roadside where made arrival on two young pedestrians, then fled the scene. The culprit of his guilt in the crime was not recognized and did not repent. Sentence of Lubeshiv district court he was found guilty and received the maximum sanction envisaged by part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal code of Ukraine punishment in the form of 10 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right of management by vehicles for a period of 3 years. Disagreeing with sentencing, the man and his lawyer decided to appeal the verdict.
