Chernivtsi: Legal salary – the basis of future pensions!

Since the level of pension depends on seniority and accrued earnings from which paid a single fee (up to 01.01.2011 – insurance premium), the issue of legalization of wages, the conclusion of the shadow of hidden employment is a priority direction of work of the main Department of Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region. We all know that some employers use different schemes for concealing the wages actually paid to employees. The most common way is the payment of wages on two statements: in one, the employees sign for wages in the minimum amount for the rest in the other. Accrued on the minimum wage, the employer reports in a timely manner and shall pay a single fee, thus not breaking the law, and the rest of the earnings are paid "envelope" on the Declaration and payment of dues – it is not. In this case, the state guarantees a minimum: the period of work included in the length, but the calculation of pensions in future will be carried out with minimum wage. Not a single case of labour persons in the employers, without official registration, with the payment of wages in cash ("envelope"), not reporting on it, and without making any contributions. In this case worker for the state not working and the period of work is generally not included in the length. By agreeing to the above terms of remuneration, workers, working faithfully and lot, upon the occurrence of the retirement age, as a rule, are not happy with the amount of the pension. Thus, employees need to be conscious of the fact that the present and dignified old age depends on their active citizenship. Since 2000, Ukraine has a system of personified registration, which provides each insured an opportunity to obtain information about themselves, that is, what is the amount of wages, how much and for what period paid for it with a single employer (insurance) payment. This system allows the insured person to control the process of formation of their future pension, requiring the employer to timely and full payment of contributions. In identifying violations of labor rights, the worker may apply to the court regarding the actions of the employer. Urge employers to respect the legislation on remuneration of labour, to forget about such things as the introduction of double-entry bookkeeping, the use of labour without proper registration, payroll in the amount of less than the minimum, and take care of social security and pensions of persons whose work brings material benefits.
