Agrarians of Ternopil oblast sowed spring grains more than 240 thousand ha
Agrarians of Ternopol region have already planted spring crops more than 240 hectares, which is 100% of the planned area. Sown area of corn for grain is nearly 119 thousand ha, buckwheat – almost 9 thousand hectares, soybean – 87 thousand hectares, according to a story Ternopil branch of NTU. Also the farms in the region has completed sowing of sunflower – 48 thousand hectares, sugar beet – almost 19 thousand hectares. The total area of sowing Yariv in the region amounted to more than 507 thousand hectares and almost 10 thousand more than last year.
