The state ecological inspection in the Transcarpathian continues monitoring the progress of elimination of consequences of unauthorized tapping into the pipeline “Druzhba”
As reported previously, 31 may 2016 15 an hour. 55 min. by state ecoinspection in the Transcarpathian region was received a telephone message from the Transcarpathian area branch “Main oil pipeline “Druzhba” of PJSC “Ukrtransnafta” to identify local soil contamination in the area of the passage of the oil pipeline “Friendship” on the site “Brody - state Border” on distance of one kilometer near the village Dubrovka of the Uzhgorod area. Specialists of state Ecoinspectorate immediately went to the scene. Conducted a survey of a place of leak of oil products (oil) on the surface of the soil in the hole “Pits” S. Dubrovka and took soil samples to determine extent of soil contamination. Recorded that as a result of an unauthorized tapping of petroleum products of water bodies were not included. The head of the railway branch of "MN "Druzhba" of PJSC "Ukrtransnafta" has issued orders on elimination of accident consequences. As 07.06.2016, emergency brigade ZD branch of "MN "Druzhba" of PJSC "Ukrtransnafta" elimination of consequences of hit of oil in the ground. Maximum oil is collected and pumped into the pipeline. Conducted cleanup of contaminated sites is carried out reclamation of contaminated land. In fact an unauthorized tapping on 298 km of oil pipeline “Brody-state Border” Uzhgorod police Department of the Main Directorate of the national police in the Transcarpathian region instituted criminal proceedings according to article 292 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. To perform calculations of damages caused by soil pollution, state ecoinspection sent a request to the office of Derzeitiger in Uzhgorod district regarding the normative monetary evaluation of land. Materials of checks and calculations of the losses caused to the state, will be transferred to the national police to order them to the criminal case.
