Round table “Chernivtsi – the wedding capital of the Ukraine” was held on 21 June in the courtyard of the town Hall with the participation of representatives of government, business and the public. It was about the possibility of creating in Chernivtsi cluster wedding industry, which will bring together entrepreneurs who made wedding dresses and accessories, engaged in the restaurant business, designers, ceremonialism, photographers, videographers and other members of the services. "Wedding industry of Chernivtsi and suburban villages, as one of the components of the light industry already has its traditions and achievements represented in the domestic and foreign markets, may be one of the priority directions of economic development of the city. The city government is ready to create favorable conditions. The first step will be to bring together the major players of this business in the cluster that will allow them to integrate their efforts and make better use of the potential of urban infrastructure. The city of Chernivtsi has all the features to get the official status of the wedding capital of Ukraine", – said the Deputy of the mayor Vladimir Seredyuk. On the creation of the cluster will work, the working group formed by order of the mayor. It is planned to hold a series of seminars, exhibitions and trainings on the development of the wedding industry, to open in Chernivtsi international wedding festival, which will be actively promoted on the international market in Chernivtsi wedding stamps.
