In Zhitomir choose the chiefs of the Bureau of legal assistance

4 July in all regions of Ukraine have begun interviewing candidates for positions of heads of the legal aid Bureau. Now the competition Commission in Zhytomyr conducted an interview for about 20 and applicants from 106 and invited. Interviewing of applicants was held in the Regional centers of free secondary legal aid in Zhitomir area. Recall that the region now has 4 centres. To the competition Commission consists of 14 members, including regional managers of the legal aid system, lawyers, the chief specialist of Department of interaction with law enforcement bodies and human rights organizations of the coordinating center for legal assistance to the Marina Magomedova. About 2/3 of members of each of the committees are representatives of public organizations, who note that such an open selection of candidates is not met. And the procedure of interviewing is not similar to the exam. In competition take part both experienced lawyers and young people – graduates of educational institutions with degree not below the bachelor. Methodological and organizational support of the competition is the Ukrainian-canadian project "Affordable and quality legal assistance in Ukraine" being implemented by the Canadian Bureau for international education and funded by the Ministry of international Affairs of Canada. According to the competition procedure the interview will continue in the regions until July 15, inclusive. This was reported in the Zhytomyr regional state administration
