Ternopil region is developing agricultural service cooperatives

within the Project EU/UNDP “Local development, oriented on colossus” July 5, Zbarazh castle was held the seminar on “Agricultural service cooperatives: prospects of development”. It was attended by the representatives of agricultural service cooperatives as well as coordinators of regional resource centers communities of Volyn, Sumy, Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions. First Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Ivan Krysak noted the successful implementation of the economic component of the Project on the territory of Ternopil region, namely the creation of agricultural service cooperatives. The active position of the territorial communities of the region, with the support of the Project EU/UNDP “Local development, oriented on colossus” and authorities, allows to solve urgent socio-economic problems in the region. The active participation of communities of Ternopil in the Project gives the opportunity not only to solve the urgent socio-economic problems, but is an example of effective cooperation between companies, authorities, businesses, international donors. Ivan Krysak thanked all the participants of the Project were carried out for effective work and noted that the regional state administration will continue to adopt measures with the aim of attracting additional grant resources for the implementation of investment projects on the territory of the region. During the seminar, summed up the implementation of the economic component of the Project and the activities of agricultural service cooperatives in the region. The participants visited the technical information centre and production facilities for agricultural service cooperative "Dary poley" in S. Kolosova Kremenets district, and visited the fields with Visagino raspberries and participated in the official opening of the production plant for the manufacture of fuel briquettes JUICE "Krynychky" Cats in the village, Berezhany district.
