Public organization "national independence." presented a unique local history project in memory of the victims of the Nazi T4 project, which is implemented with the support of the regional state administration. Recall that the public organization "national independence." was one of 12 winners of the competition to determine the programs developed by institutions of civil society, which provides financial support in 2016 at the expense of means of the regional budget, which is traditionally held every year by the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA. The aim of the project is the collection and analysis of archival documents and other historical materials concerning the destruction during the Second world war, mentally ill people in medical establishments of Vinnitsa. In the framework of the project it is planned establishment of the historical exhibition, which will be focused primarily on the modern school and University students. "By and large, the subject of activities of Vinnytsia psychiatric hospital during the Second world war have not been investigated," – said the Chairman of the NGO "national independence." and the project Manager Taisa Gaida. "That's why we decided together with our German partners to implement this project," she added. "I am confident that our project will not lose its viability after its implementation on the territory of Vinnytsia region", – said project coordinator Julia Vishnevskaya. "But we start it with Vinnitsa, because here was the most destroyed mentally ill people", she added.
