In the Vinnytsia region jmerinsky local Prosecutor's office sent to court the indictment concerning illegal felling of forest and the waste of another's property
Jmerinsky local Prosecutor's office sent the bar of the district court indictment in relation to one of the foresters of the state enterprise "lordly ryegrass” on grounds of criminal offences under article 246 of the criminal code of Ukraine (illegal cutting of forests) and part 1 of article 191 of the criminal code (misappropriation or embezzlement of another's property which has been entrusted to a person or has under management). It is established that the Forester in the beginning of the year, without statutory authorization and logging ticket using hired labor of foreign persons carried out illegal felling of trees. In the future, being financially responsible person employee of the company implemented a ready-made wood district residents. During carrying out a pretrial investigation it is established the sum of the caused environmental damages amounts to almost 200 thousand UAH. With a view to their redress local Prosecutor's office initiated a question about before’the phenomenon of enterprise to the Forester of a claim. Additionally, the sanction of article 246 of the criminal code of Ukraine provides for a fine ranging from 50 to 100 free minima of the income of citizens or arrest for up to 6 months, or restraint of liberty for a term up to 3 years, or imprisonment for the same term; part 1 of article 191 of the criminal code provides for the imposition of a fine up to 50 tax-free minimum incomes, or correctional labor for up to 2 years, or restraint of liberty for a term up to 4 years, or by deprivation of liberty for a term up to 4 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years or without it.
