According to him, according to a Government energy efficiency programme people may obtain non-repayable financial assistance for the replacement of gas boilers: for individuals - 20% refund of borrowed funds for subsidents - 70%. "Over the past week, 11 - 18 July 2016, the population attracted 11.9 million UAH for the purchase 686 "non-gas" boilers. This is almost three times more the amount of funds disbursed in the last week", – said Sergiy Savchuk, commenting on the results of weekly monitoring of the Government programme on energy efficiency. According to him, the replacement of gas boilers for Government support is the opportunity for every household to completely abandon the imported gas and go to the use of local fuels. Derzhenerhoefektyvnosti recalled that the programme of support for people to transition to alternative fuel was introduced in October 2014. Since that time there has been a steady increase in demand for the purchase of "non-gas" boilers. For the duration of the program, the Ukrainians drew 280 million UAH for the purchase of almost 17 thousand "non-gas" boilers. For its part, the Government has compensated 58.9 million hryvnia.
